Abington to Glasgow - Day 18 - 22 July

Actually starting from further south, Moffat, so a lot of pedalling to do.

After a long climb out of Moffat I was above where I needed to be, on the old A74. I crossed the motorway A74(M) and rejoined it.

 Lovely cascade of water

It was in Chatelherault Park that I met my first cyclist of the day who was doing John O'Groats to Land's End. He was headed for an overnight stop in Lockerbie.
On a bridge looking at another bridge.
Not the Temple of Luxor but lots of columns all the same, and dry.
 The Hamilton Mausoleum

Another lovely bridge
 Glasgow has fantastic buildings

The Malmaison Hotel had some local beer, so did I!

I had my shower cap on my helmet for the entire day.
Room service dinner was a lovely fish pie mornay
Tomorrow may well be dry, the weather, not me.

Derek
